Crafty Minions VIII

Just the Goods is excited about being part of one of Winnipeg’s biggest indie craft sales featuring the city’s hottest established and emerging crafty superstars and vintage finders.

Banish all thoughts of rows and rows of crocheted slippers or washcloths or ponybead keychains…think, instead, vintage-inspired handmade dresses, leather and ribbon wrist corsets, funky jewelery made of vintage silverware, tiny ceramic apartment buildings and octopus tentacles, retro aprons hand-embroidered with sassy 80s pop lyrics, handmade natural skincare luxuries, wall-art created from bass strings and recycled children’s books, silk-screened courier bags and baby wear, weird and wonderful stuffed animal-ish creations of all sorts, smart alec eco-friendly gift cards and much more. This is the new world of gorgeous guerilla DIY craft, right here at Aqua Books.

New Products

Just the Goods is pleased to introduce two new products, both created due to popular request:

First, a smooth, silky talc-free and gluten-free body powder designed to add a light dusting of all natural fragrance while controlling moisture. Be confident knowing that Just the Goods never uses artificial fragrance, which is often linked to numerous health concerns, including allergies.

This product is available in a range of scents from essential oils including bergamot, blood orange, eucalyptus, geranium bourbon, lavender, lemongrass, mandarin, muhuhu [smells like sandalwood!], patchouli (dark), pink grapefruit, rose, rosewood, tuberose, vetiver, ylang ylang and more. Of course, unscented body powder is also available, which is best suited for baby care.

This product is availble in a re-usable tin with or without a handmade powder puff, in a plastic shaker bottle, or in a handy refill format. Find out more here.

Next, Just the Goods is now finally offering facial mosturizing lotion for acne prone skin. It’s the same wonderfully nuturitive, non-greasy and quickly absorbing base with the addition of tea tree oil to help fight bacteria and keep pores clear. Find out more here.

Visit Just the Goods on May 1 at the Manitoba Nurses Union’s Annual General Meeting

Just the Goods is delighted to accept an invitation to participate in a handmade sale hosted in tandem with the Manitoba Nurses Union Annual General Meeting. The AGM will take place from May 1 – 3 at Victoria Inn (1808 Wellington Avenue Winnipeg) and Just the Goods will be present from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1. It will be a delight to speak informally with over 500 nurses about the role of genuinely natural skin care ingredients in preventive health care.

This year the Manitoba Nurses’ Union is is supporting Operation Walk Winnipeg and Kidsports. A portion of JTG’s sales on this day will be contributed to these worthy causes. See you there!

Just the Goods Lip Glow Discontinued as a Regularly Available Item

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all well! I have all kinds of exciting news about new products to share, but for the moment I want to quickly mention a recent decision to discontinue Just the Goods lip glow because it has become too difficult to make and stock so many different lip balm options.

Get remaining stock while you can because like they say on television, when they’re gone, they’re gone… erm, except by special order with a minimum of 10 in the same flavour *tee hee*.
